Losing weight is a tricky venture. Some people try, and have some success and ultimately end up right where they began, all while feeling bad about it. The yo-yo dieting effort is a vicious cycle. Diets aren’t the answer, but lifestyle changes are.
Let’s think about losing weight as a series of small steps and changes in your life, ones that are manageable and sustainable. Taking advice from someone who is fit and in shape is a tough pill to swallow for some, but there was a time in my life where I was 40 pounds heavier than I am now and living a very unhealthy lifestyle.
